Button Types
Main Page Function
These buttons serve as the final call to action of the page. This may be a SAVE, SUBMIT, or VALIDATE. If there are multiple items to be taken care of on a page then more than one green button may be used. To avoid any confusion these should be limited to 2 and in rare cases 3 on a page.
Secondary Functions
These buttons effect the information on the specific page and in specific tables of information. In the case where there is only one function to modify the data in the table the gray button should be used.
The use of a lighter gray button indicates that there is more than one function that can be performed on a specific page. A darker gray can be used to describe the task to be performed before the final function of the page.
Page Specific Navigation
These buttons help with navigating the information on a specific page.
Example Layout
This particular set of buttons are found on many of the pages throughout the Scholarship System.
Links
When information or a page needs to be accessed inside a table or block of information just the Title and a link will do instead of having a button.
Disabled Buttons
When the buttons do not do anything until certain functions are performed they can be disabled. Buttons are disabled when other functions must be performed first.
